    Ken Nurisso President

    Ken Nurisso is President and co-owner of Broadway Mechanical Contractors, Inc.  Since joining Broadway full-time in early 2011, Ken has been involved with all aspects of the business including opportunity identification, business development, project management, business process optimization, and management of corporate finances.

    Ken was born and raised in the Bay Area. He grew up in Redwood City and is the youngest of four children and represents the fourth generation of Nurissos in the plumbing industry. He attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1998 and graduated magna cum laude while earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.

    Ken enjoys attending local sporting events and spending time with his wife, Tami, and their three children.  Ken is the 3rd Nurisso to be President of NorCal MCA.

    James Lowder Vice President

    James began riding around in a service truck with his father, on service calls, at the age of 3.  Upon his fathers passing in 2004, James returned to the company, with a focus on growing the family business through relationships.  Serving the NorCal MCA as a Board Member since 2010, and as a Board Member of MCAA since 2023, has been a great experience.  Outside of work, he enjoys raising cattle, horses, and chasing rodeos with his children.

    Mike Teague 2nd Vice President

    Mr. Teague has over 41 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience includes maintenance, turnarounds, and new construction for industrial projects. These projects include refineries, power plants, and chemical, petrochemical, and food & beverage facilities throughout the western United States. He is experienced in all aspects of industrial construction including operations, client relationships, labor relations, contract negotiations, estimating, project management, along with supervision of staff and craft employees. He has extensive experience in piping and mechanical crafts and the associated trades.

    In his current role, he is the Labor Relations Manager for Schultz Industrial Services, Inc. Schultz provides maintenance, construction and turnaround services to oil refiners and producers throughout California and the Pacific Northwest for clients including California Resources Corporation, Chevron, Marathon, PBF, Phillips 66, and Valero. 

    Mike and his wife Cheryl reside in Fair Oaks, CA. They have three children (Heather, Jennifer, and Nathen) and eight grandchildren (Khary, Isaiah, Chase, Tyson, Hannah, Daysia, Michael, and Simon) ranging in age from 3 to 27.  In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling with family and friends, golf, fishing and socializing at his second home - North Ridge Country Club.

  • Bill Cawley Portrait

    Bill Cawley Treasurer

    William J. Cawley, III, (Bill) serves as President of Benicia Plumbing, Inc. He is responsible for new construction estimating and overseeing all aspects of company operations.

    Bill began his relationship with Benicia Plumbing at the early age of six when he would go to the shop with his father on Saturdays and work during school vacations. Bill graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, California and worked part-time and full-time in the field while attending college.

    Bill attended Texas A & M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science. He served two years as a Project Manager for Brandt Engineering Co., Inc., a large commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor located in Dallas, Texas. In 1998, Bill was recruited by Benicia Plumbing, Inc., and has been there ever since. He holds his California Contractor’s License, with the C-36 Plumbing and C-20 HVAC specialties and is an EPA Certified “Universal” refrigerant technician.

    When he isn’t working, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, serving in his church, and participating in shooting sports, when time allows.
